"13" The Musical

I miss theatre and all my friends in theatre.  Going to school full time and working part time and taking care of my granddaughter just does not leave much time for anything else.  I have volunteered to help with the next play to be performed at Grand Lake Theatrix. "13" The Musical, a story about teenagers in middle school. It is going to be a fantastic play.  The music, the singing, and the dancing.  Auditions for the play were on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week.  We had such a great turn out.  Everyone was good so the cast choosing was really tuff.  But we got it done and the cast is great!!!!!!  It is going to be a great play.  The productions is the 19th and 20th in August.  So if you like theatre Grand Lake Theatrix is the place to be !!!!!!

Birthday Girl

This is my oldest Granddaughter, Aubrey. On June 3 she turned 12 years old. Hard to believe she is almost a teenager. I have some very good friends that allowed me to have a swimming party at their house.  They have a super nice pond. So on Saturday, June 4, approximately 15 girls and 3 dogs (lol) was in the pond from 2:30 pm til 8:pm. We cooked on the grill. The only time they were out of the water was to eat. We got home right before the storm. They had a wonderful time. The reason for the excitement in her face in the photo is because she is holding tickets to a Taylor Swift concert. The concert is in Columbus, OH on Tuesday, June 7. She is really looking forward to it.  Well that is it for now.  Check back soon for some Taylor Swift photos.

I Miss You So Much........

New Blogger !!!!

My name is Crystal and I am new to blogging.  I became an unemployed American and decided to go back to school.  I started attending classes at Wright State University-Lake Campus in Celina, OH and also got a job at the university as a computer lab assistant. I am working towards an associates degree in Legal Administrative.  This blog is a project for my Software Applications class. I am excited, I believe I am going to enjoy it.

Also like several Grandparents in America today, I am a single Grandmother raising my 11 year old granddaughter.  Her name is Aubrey and she keeps me very busy.

I have a large interest in Hot Air Balloons and I look forward to riding in one someday in the future.  Oh yeah.....I also have plans to take a cruise someday.....Maybe the cruise will be my graduation present to myself.......Sounds like a plan!!!!!!
